On Wednesday, December 8, the Croatian-Swiss Young Professionals Association (CSYPA) co-organized with Ambassador Andrea Bekić a meeting in Bern on 2020 earthquakes in Croatia. The meeting was attended by earthquake engineers, including Professor Josip Atalić from the University of Zagreb and Professor Katrin Beyer from the EPFL in Lausanne with their teams, as well as representatives of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The participants discussed potential initiatives, strategies and scientific co-operation between Switzerland and Croatia.

After hours of meetings and workshops at the EPFL, we had a wonderful time in the Chalet Suisse in Lausanne on Thursday, December 9. And yes, the fondue in Chalet Suisse was delicious!
